<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic device enabling easily cultivating plants without taking trouble in a narrow space at home or in an office without saving space. <P>SOLUTION: This hydroponic device has a container 1 with an opened upper part, a solid medium 4 filled in the container, a partition board 8 arranged in the container, supporting the solid medium through separating from the bottom 9 of the container 1 and filling a part of the supported soli medium 4 up to the bottom 9 of the container 1, and a cover 14 covering the upper part of the container 1. The device is set with a wash water discharge hole 5 on the lower part of the side wall 2 of the container 1 and an overflow hole 7 where a culture solution 6 overflows.
