System, method and software for managing resources in a delimited environment

The system has a modeling unit (21) for modeling presence, availability and use of resources in a restricted environment as a function of a time variable. A prediction unit (24) receives values passed as resources modeling functions and outputs predicted values of the resources modeling functions. An optimization unit (32) manages the resources according to the predicted values provided by the prediction unit. An independent claim is also included for a resource management process.
