PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oscillated wavelength bands of pump lasers of dual configuration from being in matching with each other resulting from injection synchronization of a return light. SOLUTION: Output lights of pump lasers 54, 56 are made incident onto a fiber grating 60 using a PANDA fiber via a half mirror 58, reflected therein and return to the emission sources pump lasers 54, 56. Since reflecting wavelength bands λ1, λ2 of two major axes are slightly different by about 0.4nm in the fiber grating, the laser oscillated wavelength of the pump laser 56 is locked to the wavelength λ2. A transmission light of the fiber grating 60 is introduced to erbium doped optical fibers 48U, 48D by a 3dB coupler 62 and wavelength division multiplex (WDM) couplers 50U, 50D to stimulate the erbium doped optical fibers 48U, 48D. |
