Controlling the positioning of a biological element (A) on a zone of a support, where (A) is labeled with a tracer (T) that emits light and the zone is situated in a layer of material that can capture light comprises: (a) positioning (A) on the support; (b) measuring the intensity of light; and (c) determining the position of (A) by comparing the measured intensity with a reference value.
