PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid member engaging mechanism reduced in operation force to enhance operalibity, capable of keeping good operability over a long period of time and capable of facilitating the planning and adjustment of a spring. SOLUTION: A lid member engaging mechanism consists of a main body 1 having a recessed part provided to the front end surface thereof, the lid member 2 connected to the main body 1 at its rear end part of a hinge and having a hook part 18 provided to the lower part of the front end thereof and the operation part 4 having the hook part 12 engageable with the hook part 18 fitted in the recessed part of the main body 1 so as to be slidable before and behind in a non-separable manner and sprang out by a torsion coil spring 5. The torsion coil spring 5 is constituted so that leg parts 15 are extended left and right from a central coil part 14. |
