PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a crew protector during a sideward collision which can be mounted on a small vehicle without deteriorating the operability of a seat belt and a getting on/off characteristic. SOLUTION: A side part 16 is arranged in a part corresponding to the breast part 14A of an occupant 14 seated on a front passenger's seat 10, in an outer side part in the direction of the width of the seat back 12 of the front passenger' s seat 10. The side part 16 can be separated from a main body 20 constituting other parts of the seat back 12. A side air bag member 22 is provided between the side part 16 and the main body 20. When an inflator 24 operates, the side air bag member 22 swells and expands and the side part 16 abuts against the door trim 34 of a front side door 30, so that a space between the occupant 14 and the front side door 30 is assured. |
