PURPOSE:To use a disk player for a compact disk, etc., by executing a scan by a recording use light beam which has been brought to intensity modulation, based on information and generating an intermittent reversible physical variation corresponding to intensity in continuous groove parts and continuous raised parts. CONSTITUTION:In an information recording area 3 of a disk-like recording medium 1, continuous groove parts or continuous raised parts of a spiral shape or a concentric circle shape for surrounding a center hole 2 are formed. Thereafter, the continuous groove parts or the continuous raised parts of a spiral shape or a concentric circle shape are scanned by a recording use light beam which has been brought to intensity modulation, based on information. Also, an intermittent reversible physical variation corresponding to intensity of the recording use light beam generates a deformation for annihilating intermittently the groove part 9a or the raised part 9. In such a way, in the information recording area 3 in the disk-like recording medium 1, information is recorded with an intermittent array of the groove part 9a or the raised part 9. Therefore, at the time of reproducing the information, a disk player used in common with a compact disk, etc., can be used. |
