The structure has a speed reduction device (24) for reducing rotational speed of a drive wheel, and a brake caliper (156) for applying brake to the rotation of a brake disc (303) mounted on an axle shaft, where the brake caliper is mounted on a case (151). A piston (353) and two shoe plates on the brake caliper apply a brake to the brake disc by locking the brake disc. The piston, the shoe plates, a bolt (191) of the brake caliper and a bolt (248) of the case are arranged in a straight line (390) and parallel to a direction of a braking force.
