<p>PURPOSE:To scroll a text laterally at high speed by setting the quantity of lateral scrolling when a lateral scroll left key or lateral scroll right key is depressed to plural digits. CONSTITUTION:While the lateral scroll left key 9-1 or lateral scroll right key 9-2 is depressed, a lateral scroll means 7 reads a text out of a text buffer 2 at specific timing. Then a text by one screen which is shifted in display start digit position left or right by plural digital from a current display start digit position is taken out of the read text. Then a screen display means 8 displays the text extracted by the lateral scroll means 7 on a display screen. Therefore, while the lateral scroll left key 89-1 or lateral scroll right key 9-2 is depressed, the test is scrolled continuously by plural digits at a time. Consequently, the test is scrolled laterally at high speed.</p> |
