A light weight buffer metal for an electric cable is provided to install an electric cable changeably by adjusting an installation height of a light arm upwardly or downwardly. A light weight buffer metal for an electric cable includes a left/right light arm fixed frame(10), a moving bolt(20), a light arm(30), and a suspension insulator(40). The left/right light arm fixed frame is divided into a left/right side. A front/rear vertical plane of the left/right light arm fixed frame is connected and fixed to a utility pole by a bolt and a nut while the utility pole is located on a center. An insertion hole is inserted into a front/rear/left/right guide piece of the left/right light arm fixed frame. The moving bolt is protruded to a front/rear side centered on the utility pole. A horizontal long hole is horizontally formed on a central part of the light arm. A screw unit of the moving bolt is inserted into the light arm and is connected and fixed by the nut. A circular groove is inwardly formed on an outer plane of the horizontal long hole at a predetermined interval. The suspension insulator has a core rod having a plurality of insulator wings. A fixed ring which is installed on a circular groove of the light arm is formed on a front unit of the core rod. The suspension insulator is connected and fixed to the horizontal long hole by the nut. |
