AUTOMATIC CONTROLLER WEIGHTING-SUPPLYING EXTRUDER WITH POLYMER

PURPOSE: To stabilize an extrusion process by changing the extrusion amt. of a supplied polymer corresponding to the characteristic change of the polymer by providing the sensor positioned within an extruder at predetermined height to detect the level of the polymer in a vacuum shaft, a control apparatus and a voltage converter. CONSTITUTION: In the supply amt. or speed of the polymer supplied to an extruder from a supply device, when the viscosity of the polymer increases, the rotational speed of a supply screw 4 is increased and the amt. of the polymer melt is increased. When the polymer melt in a vacuum shaft is increased to come into contact with the level sensor 12 attached to the inside of the vacuum shaft 8, the sensor 12 sends a signal to a control apparatus 14. This signal is sent to a voltage converter 15 to control the electromotor 6 driving the supply screw 4. The electromotor 6 increases the rotation of the supply screw 4 for a predetermined time to increase the transport amt. of the polymer melt and the polymer level 13 in the vacuum shaft 8 lowers. When the level 13 of the polymer melt becomes lower than the preset level of the sensor 12, the supply screw 4 returns to its first rotational speed.
