CONNECTION BETWEEN PIPE AND MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide connection between a pipe and a mold equipped with the support of a clamping ring which surrounds the pipe by making a mutual action with a spring which supports the clamping ring between the cone-shaped part of a housing and the pipe at the operating position of the spring. SOLUTION: A clamping ring 20 supports a pipe 18 involving a housing 10 like a wedge. The clamping ring 20 is retained at its wedge functioning position by a spring member 30 acting on the clamping ring 24 in an axial direction (x). The spring member 30 can be closed in a compressive stress condition without having stress acting upon the clamping ring 20. In order to form connection between the pipe 18 and a mold 12, a locking clip 32 passing through the housing 10 is pulled out from the housing 10 so as to loosen the spring member 30.
