A beverage font 1 has a housing 4 for mounting to a bar or similar surface, one or more taps (2 fig 8) for dispensing beverage, and one or more beverage lines 3 routed through the housing for supplying the taps with beverage. The beverage font also has a cooling line 9 located in thermal contact with the housing through which, in use, a cooling medium can flow so as to cool the housing such that condensation, frost or ice form on only one face of the housing exterior, and where insulation 52 is provided to thermally insulate the cooling line from other faces of the housing. The cooled face 50 of the housing may be a front face, and may be made of metal and in thermal contact with the cooling line via several thermal bridges. The insulation may be expanded foam, and may surround the cooling line except for portions in contact with the thermal bridges. At least a portion of the cooling line may be in contact with one or more beverage lines so as to provide cooling of the beverage. The beverage font may include taps that are adapted to dispense beverages with foamed heads. |
