<p>The timepiece has a current-time ringing mechanism comprising hour, quarter and minute cams (40, 28, 22) for respectively providing information about the hour, quarter and minutes of current time to hour, quarter and minute samplers. The cams are driven by a movement. The quarter and minute cams are pivotally mounted and free relative to each other. Energy transmitted by the movement to the cams is brought to a coaxial gear train at the minute cam. The energy is transmitted to coaxial gear trains of respective quarter and hour cams.</p> |
