PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission capable of reducing the number of gears for power transmission between parallel shafts and improving vehicle mountability.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission 1 comprises: an input shaft 2 disposed on a first shaft AX1 and driven to be connected to an engine 40; a continuously variable transmission 10 capable of continuously changing a transmission gear ratio; a shift gear mechanism 20 disposed on a third shaft and having a first planetary gear SP1 accelerating the rotation of the continuously variable transmission 10; a primary input gear 31 disposed on a second shaft AX2 and driven to be connected to a primary pulley 11 disposed on the second shaft AX2; a High input gear 32 disposed on the third shaft AX3 and driven to be connected to the first planetary gear SP1 when the shift gear mechanism 20 is in a high velocity mode; and a drive gear 30 disposed on the first shaft AX1, driven to be connected to the input shaft 2, and engaged with the primary input gear 31 and the High input gear 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
