PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration detection device, a rotary machine, a vibration detection method and a program capable of accurately grasping the state of a vibration that occurs to a rotor blade.SOLUTION: A vibration detection device 5 comprises: a tip detection signal input unit 50 receiving input of detection signals from a plurality of tip sensors S1 each detecting passing of a detection point on an outer edge of an apical surface of a rotor blade; an observed vibration waveform acquisition unit 51 acquiring an observed vibration waveform in response to a vibration of the rotor blade on the basis of the detection signals from the tip sensors S1; an inclination acquisition unit 52 acquiring a degree of inclination of the outer edge of the apical surface at the detection point; an amplitude ratio acquisition unit 53 acquiring an amplitude ratio that is a ratio of the amplitude of the rotor blade in the rotation axis direction to the amplitude thereof in the circumferential direction; and an actual vibration waveform acquisition unit 54 acquiring an actual vibration waveform on the basis of the degree of inclination acquired by the inclination acquisition unit 52, the amplitude ratio acquired by the amplitude ratio acquisition unit 53, and the observed vibration waveform acquired by the observed vibration waveform acquisition unit 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
