FIELD: means of camouflage of military objectives and personnel, as well as passive protection against aimed hitting of military and civilian objectives, personnel and civilian population. SUBSTANCE: camouflage cover uses a breadth or canvases, whose sole pattern is characterized by determined variation along the selected direction of visually perceptible brightness or color, which finds its reflection in limitation of the range of values by sections [-pi/4; pi/4] of the phase of the first harmonic of the Fourier series from visual stimulus by modulation of relative position and/or geometric form and/or dimensions of subimages and textures filling the breadth (canvases). EFFECT: reduced accuracy of determination of direction to target in conditions of time and/or information deficiency, and consequently reduced probability of its aimed hitting. 4 dwgh
