This application provides a working state prompting method and apparatus. The method may comprise: acquiring a working state of a preset contact person in an instant messaging application; detecting that a preset function page of the instant messaging application is triggered; and when the preset function page is related to the preset contact person, displaying the working state of the preset contact person on the preset function page. By means of the technical solution of this application, the working state of the preset contact person can be presented in the instant messaging application, so that a user can conveniently check and know the working state of the preset contact person in time. |
