PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head protection airbag device capable of stably generating tension in a vertically wide area in a connection member when completing inflation of a bag body and stably supporting the vehicle outside of an end side inflation section by the connection member.SOLUTION: An airbag 20 includes: a bag body 21; and a connection member 58 which connects a root section side to a front end side of the bag body 21 and fixes a mounting section 60 on a tip side to a peripheral edge of a window W1. The bag body 21 includes a general inflation section 39 and an end side inflation section 38 disposed adjacently to a front side of the general inflation section 39. The connection member 58 covers the vehicle outside of the end side inflation section 38 and connects the root section side to a closing section 44 of the bag body 21 at portions of connection points 63 and 64 disposed in at least two portions separated vertically, and each separation distance from a mounting section 60 of each connection point 63 and 64 is made to have a substantially equal distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
