PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric ceramic compsn. capable of increasing Q value, capable of firing at a low temp. of <=950 deg.C and capable of firing together with Ag. SOLUTION: This dielectric ceramic compsn. contains a Zn-contg. compd., a B-contg. compd., an alkali metal-contg. compd. and a Cu-contg. compd. by 4-30 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of ZnO), 1-20 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of B2 O3 ), 1-10 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of carbonate of the alkali metal) and 0.01-7 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of CuO), respectively, to 100 pts.wt. principal component which is a multiple oxide contg. at least Ba and Ti as metallic elements. The multiple oxide is presented by the formula BaO.x(Ti1-a Zra )O2 , where (x) shows the molar ratio between the oxides, 3.5<=x<=4.5 and 0<=a<=0.20. |
