1. An image forming apparatus comprising:
a motor; at least one sheet feeder configured to feed a sheet in response to receipt of a driving force from the motor; a transmission assembly configured to establish and interrupt a connection between the motor and the at least one sheet feeder; an operation panel configured to accept a user input; and a controller configured to:
accept a selection of one of a first job and a second job via the operation panel, the first job including an operation of driving the at least one sheet feeder, the second job not including the operation of driving the at least one sheet feeder;in response to acceptance of a selection of the first job, begin a preceding process in advance of accepting an instruction to execute the first job, the preceding process comprising controlling the transmission assembly to establish the connection between the motor and the at least one sheet feeder;after the acceptance of the selection of the first job, accept the instruction to execute the first job via the operation panel; and based on the acceptance of the instruction, execute the first job.
