PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability, by delivering a combustion gas to an air bag efficiently and rapidly, for example. SOLUTION: The first chamber 9 is provided at the end face at the first vent opening 8 side in the second chamber 5, the first blocking member 13 integrating an ignitor 14 is provided at the first vent opening 8, and the second blocking member 12 is provided to the second vent opening at the opposite side of the first vent opening 8. A combustible gas mixture in the first chamber 9 is ingnited by the ignitor 4, the gas in the second chamber 5 is burned by the ingnited combustion gas, and during this combustion period, the first blocking member 13 is broken by the increased gas pressure in the first chamber 9, and at the same time or immediately after this breaking, the second blocking member 12 is broken, so as to deliver only the combustion gas to an air bag 3. In this case, the first blocking member 13 has a lead line for power feeding fixed in a metal case through an insulator, and the creeping insulation distance on the surface at the high pressure side of the insulator is set larger than that on the outer side surface. |
