PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire for ceiling so designed that a luminaire body can easily be installed and removed without removing a heat insulating plate. SOLUTION: This luminaire includes a rotating support seat 38 pivotally attached to a position (hole) 28 of a luminaire body 20 near its outer periphery to support a heating point-light source 32 and a heat insulating plate 30 in such a manner that they are both freely movable. The movable range of the rotating support seat 38 is determined so that the heating point light source 32 and the heat insulating plate 30 retreat to positions where they do not obstruct the work of securing the body 20 to a luminaire mounting seat 10. The rotating support seat 38 is provided with a phase control part 36 which, in a normal rotation phase, permits mounting of a translucent cover 40 on the body 20 and which, in rotation phases that are not normal, stops mounting of the cover 40. The body 20 is installed or removed by appropriately rotating the heating point light source 32 and the heat insulating plate 30 around the rotating support seat 38. Although there is the fear that the translucent cover 40 is installed and used while the heating point light source 32 and the heat insulating plate 30 are left in a phase that is not normal, it is solved by properly controlling mounting of the translucent cove 40 by use of the phase control part 36. |
