PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device that can be stopped safely by detecting the overvoltage and shortage in the output voltage of an inverter without delaying elements. SOLUTION: An absolute value circuit 10 does not calculate the absolute value of an output voltage 3 but calculates the difference between an output voltage reference which is outputted from a control reference generator 4 and the output voltage 3. By comparing the output waveform of the absolute value circuit with a voltage protection detecting level by a comparator 13, the output of the comparator 13 becomes 1, when the difference between the output voltage 3 and the output voltage reference exceeds or goes below a level determined by a detection level setting equipment, so that a voltage level ca be monitored at every half cycle of the output voltage 3. |
