PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detecting accuracy for residual toner by providing a first light guide for guiding light emitted from a light emitting member to a first light transparent part and a second light guide for guiding the light after passing through a second light transparent part to a light receiving member. SOLUTION: The light for detecting outgoing from a light emitting lamp which is provided in an image forming device main body and for detecting the residual toner passes through a first lamp guide (light transparent member) 37 and is reflected by a slope 37a inclined at an angle of 45 deg. to the entering direction of the light for detecting, to transmit light transparent windows 36a and 36b. Then, the light for detecting is reflected by the slope 38a inclined at an angle of 45 deg. to the entering direction of the light for detecting, of the second light guide (light transparent member) 38 similarly, to transmit it and received by a light receiving sensor which is provided in the image forming device main body and for detecting the residual toner. In such a case, the first and second light guides 37 and 38 are directly attached to the outside surface of a toner container 33 by supporting members 40. |
