PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a process simple, stabilize a contact state of a connector pin and a board side connecting part, and establish an allowable value of a relative position displacement of the board side connecting part and the connector pin, capable of ensuring good, low contact resistance to the tip curvature of the connector pin and a contact load. SOLUTION: In a pressure contact type connector which is electrically connected by pressing a connector pin 1 against a board side connecting part 8 to be arranged on a circuit board 4, a material having stiffness higher than that of a connector housing is fixed without use of an adhesive, or a material having a coefficient of thermal expansion larger than that of the connector housing is fixed by adhesion or closely joining as a bending suppressing plate 5 onto the surface of the connector housing on the opposite side to the surface forming a beam part 6 where the connector pin comes in contact with the connector housing 2, and silicone gel is applied to the contact surface. The amount of relative position displacement of the connector pin and the board side connecting part is specified to 400μm or less, and that when the silicone gel is not applied is specified to 30μm or less. |
