PURPOSE:To prevent any edge chip from occurring as well as to increase the extent of strength by covering a peripheral edge of a joint end of a concrete body with a metal end plate and symmetrical side plates, and installing a concrete layer between a clamping opening and a faceplate. CONSTITUTION:Joint hardware for connecting a segment is embedded in the joint end side of a body part 2 composed of concrete. This connecting hardware has an end plate 4 covering the whole connecting end surface of the body part 2 and symmetrical side plates covering each side wall of the body parts 2, 2 in contact with this end plate. In addition, bolt inserting ports 14 are installed in the back of the end plate 4 by piercing through a concrete layer 13, having a partition wall 7 for forming a clamping opening 12 and formed between this partition wall 7 and the end plate 4. With this constitution, the back of the faceplate 4 is formed into a sandwich structure by a metal plate and concrete, so that rigidity to tension and compression is thus increasable. |
