The resin may be a polystyrene, polyvinyl or polyvinylidene resin, polyacrylate, polyamide, polyester, polycarbonate, cellulose ester or polyolefin. Coloured pigments, dyes; antioxidants, and antiblock, slip, release and anti-static agents may also be present, and the compositions used to coat paper and board in the manufacture of photographic materials. Examples describe compositions of polyethylene, brightener and antimony trioxide, optionally with barium sulphate (5) or ultramarine blue (6).</p> |
