PURPOSE:To suppress the counter electromotive force generated at the time of the instantaneous interruption of the energization of feeders to a low level by inverting the taking up direction at every taking up of one or several layers at the time of taking up the optical fiber cable. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber cable 1 is spirally taken up by each of respective layers around a cable tank cone 3 in a cable tank 2 and the taking up direction is inverted at every one layer, then the cable is housed in the cable tank 2. Then, even if the energization from a DC power supply 4 is instantaneously interrupted by a certain cause, the inductances of the feeders in the respective layers negate each other as far as the numbers of taking up times of the cable in the respective layers are equaled and, therefore, the counter electromotive force generated in the feeders is suppressed low. |
