[Also in Division H1] A 30% by wt. solution of polyisobutylene in benzine (b.p. 60-140‹ C.) is added, with stirring, to a warm solution made by dissolving polyethylene in benzene (1:12) at about 120‹ C. The resulting solution of polyisobutylene in benzine containing flocculated polyethylene is mixed with a ferrite, and optionally bitumen, resins or waxes in the manufacture of moulded ferrite bodies. |
