<p>Water-impervious coatings are produced on porous surfaces, esp. surfaces of cement on concrete on roofs or terraces, by applying successively to the surface, a mat of glass-fibre, and a mixture of styrene, at least one unsatd. polyester and a hardening catalyst, the mixture being sufficiently fluid to pentrate the interstices of the mat. The coating's allow rain water to flow off the surfaces, and resist sunlight and large variations in temp. without cracking or loosening.</p> |
