Pneumatic cleaning device for a textile machine which is movable along the machine is provided with a fan disposed above the machine and associated with a flexible hose depending vertically for co-operation with openings in the textile machine. Latter is also associated with a yarn tying machine movable along the textile machine independently of the cleaning device. At least the upper part of the hose is flexible and the flexible part above the yarn tying machine is contacted by a lever for deflection of the hose externally of the tying machine.
