The concrete pipe thrust bore clearance and load-out facility is for use with several rams in a pit, the spoil being removed from the forward end of the bore during driving, in the form of a core. A shield tube (1) placed ahead of the first of the concrete pipes (46), and adapted to the bore diameter, accommodates a cutting ring (4) fitted with a feed tube (I) and bucket wheel (52). The ring adjusts axially and is revolved by a number of rear-mounted drives (56). The feed tube adjoins the truncated conical space and is fitted out with exchangeable cutting spirals (26, 27, 28, 29) which are in turn adjoined by the bucket wheel (52) for loading the core spoil outward.
