PURPOSE:To prevent rise of residual potential and peeling by forming a protective layer made of a binder resin derived from specified monomers and containing Sn<m>3O2(OH)2 particles dispersed into said resin. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is formed by successively laminating on a conductive substrate a photosensitive layer, an interlayer, and the surface protective layer made of the binder resin containing the Sn<3>3O2(OH)2 particles dispersed into said resin of a copolymer of styrene (a), methyl methacrylate (b), acrylic acid (c), and glycidyl methacrylate (d) in the following relations in weight proportion; 0.80<=(a+b)/(a+b+c+d)<=0.85, and 0.15<=(c+d)/(a +b+c+d)<=0.20, 0<=a/(a+b)<=1.0, and 0<=b/(a+b)<=1.0, preferably, 0.20<=d/(a+b)<=0.60 and 0.40<=b/(a+b)<=0.80, and in the following molar relationships; (d/c)>=1.0, preferably, >=2.0, thus permitting rise of residual poten tial and peeling of the layers to be prevented. |
