PURPOSE:To manufacture the controller at low cost while lengthening life by conducting connecting operation in which the direction of rotation is changed over after motor currents are brought to zero. CONSTITUTION:One ends of a main winding 3 and an auxiliary winding 4 of the induction motor 1 are wired in common with a power source 2 and the other ends to a constantly-closed contact NC and a constantly-opened contact NO of a transfer contact 17 of a relay 18, putting a capacitor 5 between the ends respectively. A semiconductor switching element 19 mounted between a common contact of the transfer contact 17 and the power source 2 is controlled 12 by means of a transistor Tr11' and a coil 20 of the relay 18 by means of a Tr10' respectively. Accordingly, the motor 1 is stopped by means of the element 19 and the direction of rotation is changed over by changing over the main winding 3 and the auxiliary winding 4 by means of the contact 17 respectively. The controller, however, is controlled 12 in such a manner that the contact 17 is changed over under a condition that the element 19 is OFF, and the element 19 is ON again after completion of the change- over of the contact 17. |
