PURPOSE:To obtain a pointer time piece easy to use which permits immediate recognition of the chronograph mode without complicating the indication surface by quickly advancing the pointer according to the contents of a counting circuit for counting and memorizing clock signals. CONSTITUTION:When the chronograph mode is selected with a switch 10, based on counts of a clock counting circuit 5 for counting and memorizing clock signals, a motor 8 is advanced quickly to swiftly send the pointer of an analog indication mechanism 9 to the position 12:00, the chronograph function start position. With single operation of a switch 11, pulses with an interval of 1/10 second are inputted into a chronograph counting circuit 6 from a division circuit 2 and the elasped time of the chronograph is indicated by a minute pointer adapted to make a round per minute in the mechanism 9. Under such a condition, when the time indication mode is selected, the current time is indicated after the swift sending of the pointer according to the contents of the circuit 5. This provides a pointer time piece with a chronograph function easy to use which permits immediate recognition of the chronograph mode without complicating the indication surface. |
