Quinazoline derivs. (I; Ra1, Rb1=C2-7 alkoxycarbonyl; R4=H, alkyl, OH, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, dialkyl amino; Ra2=acyl; A1= -N=CR4, R5-N-C=O; R5=alkyl, alkenyl), used as antiallergy agents, were prepd. by the reaction of II with Ra2OH or its reactive derivs. Thus, 2.5g diethyl (6-amino-4-quinazol-inylamino) methylene propandioate, 1.2g pyridine and 55ml CH2Cl2 were stirred at 0≦̸C and 1.06g of isobutylchloride was added. The mixt. was stirred at 0≦̸C and at room temp, for 20min. Ice was added and extracted with CHCl3, gave 1.28g cystalline diethyl[6-isobutylamino-4-quinazolinylamino) methylene propandioate.
