PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive detector easy to handle, by holding a counterweight having a conductive surface in a housing having a conductive inner wall by a plurality of springs and filling the space between the counterweight and the inner wall with a pressure-sensitive substance while measuring the electric resistance between the counterweight and the surface of the inner wall. CONSTITUTION:A counterweight 3 having a conductie surface is held to the inside of an outer container 1 having a conductive inner wall by a plurality of conductive spring 4. The conductive springs 4 are insulated from the outer container 1 by an insulating ring 5 and terminals 6a-6f (6e, 6f are not shown in the drawing) are provided. The space between the counterweight 3 and the outer container 5 is filled with pressure-sensitive rubber 2 of which the electric resistance is reduced by compression. For example, when external force is applied from a C-surface to the direction of an A-surface, the counterweight 3 functions so as to keep the present state to generate counteraction in the C-direction and the reduction in the electric resistance between the terminal 6c and the outer container 5 becomes max. When external force is applied from the E-direction shown by the arrow, the electric resistances between the terminals 6b, 6c and the outer container 5 are reduced to a same degree. By this method, the direction and magnitude of acceleration can be easily detected. This detector is suitable for a rocket. |
