PURPOSE:To improve the strength and accuracy in assembly by enlarging outside diameters of intermediate laminated plates of a stator and by pinching these plates for assembly of large outside diameters with an opening end face of a bracket. CONSTITUTION:A stator 3 is composed of a laminated steel plate 1 and a winding 2 wound over. In the nearly middle of the stator 3 a steel plate 4 of a large outside diameter is provided. Cup-shaped brackets 5 and 6 are fitted into from both sides of the stator 3 in the axial direction. To each opening end face of brackets 5 and 6 flanges 7 and 8 are formed respectively, with which the steel plate 4 of large outside diameter is pinched and with bolt 9 it is fixed. With the presence of the steel plate 4 of large outside diameter the accuracy in assembly is improved and so does the strength.
