PURPOSE:To obtain a blanking pulse having sufficient pulse width equal to fly-back time by providing a waveform shaping circuit that forms output voltage of a horizontal oscillation circuit of a horizontal deflecting circuit to square wave having nearly the same pulse width and the same phase. CONSTITUTION:Output voltage of a horizontal driving circuit 11 driven by a horizontal oscillation circuit 10 is waveform shaped to square wave having the same pulse width (width equivalent to horizontal fly-back time) with a fly-back pulse (FP) and the same phase with the fly-back pulse by a waveform shaping circuit 14, and the square wave is supplied to a video amplifier circuit 15 as a blanking pulse (BP). Thus, a blanking pulse having sufficient pulse width equal to fly-back time can be obtained by simple constitution, and accordingly, no noise is caused in the reproduced picture.
