Miscellaneous function instructions from the numerical control section are divided into a plurality of groups and miscellaneous function code signals specified for each group are outputted in parallel. The programmable controller section executes sequential control of the machine on the basis of the miscellaneous function code signals of each group received in parallel from the numerical control section.
