PURPOSE: To easily provide a help function to an application program by providing a help file coping with each of plural application programs and a main help routine accessed from any of the application programs. CONSTITUTION: A monitor 14, a mouse 20 and a key board 19 are connected to a computer 18. Application programs 11-13 in a memory 10 call a main help module 16, which calls information in a help file 82 and gives help indication data and window display data to a system intrinsic 17 to allow the monitor 14 to display information. Since almost no man-hour is required except provision for the help file, the help function is provided easily to the application programs. |
