A bath has devices for generating water and/or air jets which can be directed into the bath cavity from several positions on the bath wall and/or bottom. An individual, drivable device for generating said jets is associated with each position and is mounted on, or built into, the bath wall or floor. Driving energy is supplied to each device from the outer wall of the bath. To permit individual devices to deliver a powerful, easily-adjustable water and/or air jet, a nozzle housing with a pump chamber is associated with each position. An impeller rotatably mounted in the pump chamber sucks water from the bath cavity through suction orifices in a diaphragm which seals the nozzle housing into the bath cavity. The impeller then drives the water from the pump chamber into at least one channel in the nozzle diaphragm which ends in at least one nozzle opening directed into the bath cavity. |
