PURPOSE:To obtain the title emulsion having a specific film-forming lowest temperature, etc., and having excellent low foaming property, freezing stability, film-forming properties, etc., by dispersing a polymer consisting of a (meth) acrylic acid alkyl ester component and ethylene based unsaturated carboxylic acid component, etc., in to an aqueous medium. CONSTITUTION:The aimed emulsion obtained by stably dispersing a polymer consisting of (A) 56-97wt.%, preferably 64-86wt.% (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester component, (B) 3-7wt.%, preferably 4-6wt.% ethylene based unsaturated carboxylic acid component [e.g. (meth)acrylic acid (C) 0-37wt.% vinyl compound component (preferably containing a vinylaromatic compound such as styrene, alpha-methlstyrene or chlorostyrene at a ratio of 10-30wt.%) other than the components A and B and having <=0.5mm average particle size into an aqueous medium, and having 40-70 deg.C film-forming lowest temperature and <=10ml foamable properties. |
