PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent composition which exhibits, when employed for degreasing or fluxing mechanical components, detergency equal to that of a chlorofluorocarbon solvent by compounding diethylene glycol diethyl ether with two kinds of specific nonionic surfactants. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises 60wt.% or more diethylene glycol diethyl ether, 3-20wt.% nonionic surfactant (sorbitan ester ether type) and 3-20wt.% another nonionic surfactant (selected from polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether, polyoxyethylene fatty acid ester, glycerine fatty acid ester, sorbitan ester, and polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer) as essential components. |
