A dental device for cleaning teeth includes a resilient, elongated body member. The body member has two sides joined together 90 as to form a substantially V-shaped cross-section. Both inner and outer surfaces of each side include texturing in the form of cilia. In addition,, spaced ridges may be provided on the sides to further aid in cleaning teeth. Each side also includes beaded edges to substantially prevent any cutting of gingival tissue when the device is used to clean between teeth. Finally, bristles may be provided along a section of the body member so that the device may be more effectively used to clean the open faces and chewing surfaces of the teeth. |
