PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to display such a large table on a display screen that an operator can watch column items displayed on the top line and a desired data line or line items displayed on the most left side column and a desired data column without moving bis line of sight when watching the table. SOLUTION: When the entire table of table form data to be displayed is sized too large to be displayed inside a screen, characters in the table are compressed, the entire table is displayed within a display screen and characters to be displayed while being compressed are displayed after being processing according to a gray scale or the algorithm of antialias. The line of column items displayed on the top line is displayed on the line above a data line where a cursor exists in the table. In this case, when the entire table is displayed while compressing the characters of table, the line of column items to be displayed on the line above the data line, where the cursor exists, is displayed in ordinary size together with the display of such a data line. Thus, the work efficiency is improved and the fatigue of operator can be reduced. |
