PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a function for an external communication off chip and to improve a diagnosis procedure by formulating messages from information received from a bus system, distributing message identifiers to the respective messages and transmitting the messages by off chip in the system of reduction pin data. SOLUTION: A message converter 160 is interfaced with on chip source/ address logic through a memory spray bus 220, a memory master bus 222, a memory monitor bus 226 and a diagnosis bus 234. The message converter 160 encodes control information, address information and data information from on chip/address logic to the message transmitted in parallel to a data adapter, compiles parallel data received from the on chip bus in accordance with a message protocol into the message for off chip transmission, distributes the message identifiers to the respective messages and transmits the messages by on chip in the system of reduction data. |
