PURPOSE:To obtain a silicone grease composition suitable for a refrigerator, not solidifying even at a low temperature, maintaining a greasy state, showing a low-temperature torque, value, having excellent low-temperature durability, comprising a siloxane containing a specific siloxyalkyl group or sllylalkyl group and a thickening agent. CONSTITUTION:(A) A siloxane containing a siloxyalkyl group or silylalkyl group of formula I [R<1> is a monofunctional alkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl or a halogenated alkyl; R<2> is a monofunctional siloxyalkyl group or a silylalkyl group of formula II ((d) is 22; (e) is an integer of >=2; R<3> is R<1> or R<2>; (a) is 20; (b) is 0-1,000; (c) is 0-1,000; (b+c) is a number of >=1] is mixed with (B) a thickening agent (e.g. lithium stearate) and heated at 210 deg.C for two hours while stirring to give the objective silicone grease composition not solidifying even at a low temperature, showing a low low-temperature torque value, having excellent low-temperature operation and high low-temperature durability, usable for devices working in a refrigerator and a freezing chamber, a large-sized transporting machine, etc. |
