发明名称 ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING CARRIER AND DEVELOPER
摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To suppress uneven image density or decrease in density and to obtain an output image having high density and uniform and high resolution by preparing core particles from a mixture of spherical particles and irregular particles and specifying the mixing ratio on the basis of numbers of spherical particles to irregular particles. CONSTITUTION: This carrier for electrostatic charge image development is prepared by coating surface of core particles with a polyolefin coating layer. The core particles consist of a mixture of spherical particles and irregular particles with the mixing ratio of spherical particles to irregular particles on the number basis is 95:5 to 60:40. When the irregular carrier particle touches another carrier, the probability of the edge part of the irregular particle in contact with another carrier is high so that the edge part where the core surface is exposed without the resin coating film has an effect to leak the charge accumulated in the other carrier in contact with. Thus, by properly controlling the amt. of the edge part in the developer, accumulation of charges (charge-up) which is a problem for a polyolefin resin-coated carrier can be suppressed, and therefore, uneven image density or decrease in density can be suppressed.</p>
